My husky LOVES these. I use them as training treats but something told me to add them to her kibble. As a treat I will add a few pieces into her kibble with water (its gotta be soupy) and shes goes CRAZY for it in her bowl.I will try other flavors but the beef liver flavor is working quite well.

My dogs love these Vital Essentials freeze-dried treats. They are fragrant up close, but less stinky than fresh liver, and I don't expect beef liver to smell like flowers. I love the limited ingredient list, especially when we are learning new training tasks and I need multiple treats in a short amount of time. I would much rather give my dog multiple pieces of freeze-dried meat than other "junk food" treats. I have a few dogs with allergy issues and sensitive stomachs. Rich treats often upset their GI system, but they can eat many flavors of Vital Essentials without any unwanted side effects.I think these are a great size for training a variety of dog sizes, and even cats. If I grab a bigger piece for the cat, I just break it in half. I think the cost is a great value for the quality meat product inside. Happy training!

This has become my dog’s absolute favorite snack. He has a sensitive stomach, but these treats have never caused any issues which makes me feel good about giving them regularly. The single ingredient and freeze dried texture seem very gentle on him. I only wish there was a smaller size option available for training since that would make it even more convenient.

My dogs absolutely love these treats (especially the husky). They go crazy for them every time, and I love that they’re made from a single, high-quality ingredient with no fillers or additives. They’re healthy, natural, and packed with protein, which makes me feel good about giving them as a reward.The only downside is the price. While the quality is definitely there, it does feel a bit high for the amount you get (it is fishing bait that is freeze dried). That said, my dogs enjoy them so much that I’ll keep buying them as a special treat.
